Second Degree Reiki is an intermediate level Reiki course that builds upon the foundational teachings of First Degree Reiki.

Students receive a Second Degree Reiki attunement, which deepens their connection to Reiki energy and increases their ability to channel it. In Second Degree Reiki, participants are attuned to send Reiki energy through time and space as they learn various methods of distance healing, also referred to as remote healing. This expands the scope of Reiki practice beyond hands-on healing, allowing Reiki students to send healing energy to individuals, situations, or events regardless of physical proximity or timeline. One of the key elements of Second Degree Reiki is the introduction to three sacred Reiki symbols and their corresponding mantras. Students learn to draw and activate these Reiki symbols to focus energy in specific ways, such as for mental-emotional healing and for distance healing. Students also receive instruction on ancestral healing and engage in an exploration of their family tree. Students are guided to use Reiki distance healing methods to direct healing energy to their family tree and to recognize ancestral and intergenerational patterns. During this course, students engage in distance healing practice sessions to experience giving and receiving distance healing. These practice sessions help students to become familiar with distance energy techniques and also foster intuition development. Additionally, various original and advanced distance healing techniques are taught to broaden the student’s scope of practice.

Overall, The Second Degree Reiki Course represents a significant step in a Reiki Student’s journey, providing them with additional tools and knowledge to expand their healing abilities and deepen their understanding of Reiki energy. Students will receive a Second Degree Reiki Manual in digital PDF files, and a Second Degree Reiki Certificate from The Reiki School of Energy Healing. After completing the Second Degree Reiki Course, participants may use the title, “Reiki Student.”

Second Degree Reiki is the pre-requisite for the Reiki Master Course.
